First of May Tournament

at Pirin Golf & Country Club

Petar Iliev– 1st place, division B

Nikolay Savov– 1st place, division C

Raicho Angelov won 3 cards for driving range balls

First of May Tournament was held yesterday at Pirin Golf & Country Club / May 1st, 2010 /.

Besides a nice round of golf on the only mountain golf course in Bulgaria, the participants enjoyed the sunny weather.

President’s Cup 2010

at Pirin Golf & Country Club

Pirin Golf & Country Club held one of its major tournaments on May 8th -Pirin Golf President’s Cup. We celebrated the St. George Holiday weekend with our friends and organized three tournaments, a perfect way to spend good time with people you love.

The format of the event held on May 6th was Scramble Stable ford, two players per team. The golfers were motivated to show their best in the competition.

The fist golf camp of the National Golf Team of Bulgaria

Pirin Golf & Country Club

On May 14th began the fist golf camp for this year of the National Golf Team of Bulgaria. The camp was arranged in cooperation with the BGA (PBGA) and Alan Rogut – Golf development Manager in BGA. The coaches of the national selection, which will represent Bulgaria in International amateur golf tournaments – Neal Turley and Nikolay Stanew were quite strict, but pleased that the future of amateur golf is in their hands. The camp began with a meeting of the players and short briefing of their tasks and obligations.

Monthly Series

At Pirin Golf & Country Club

Ana– Maria Valkanova won 1st place in division A in Pirin Monthly Series Tournament, III round

Nikolay Kiossev– 1st in division B

The third round of the Pirin Golf Monthly Series took place on May 23th, Sunday. The remaining rounds of the tournament will be held on the following dates: June 13, July 25, August 22 an September 12.

The format of the game was Stableford Individual on 18 holes on Ian Woosnam golf course.

Ivan Trasiev won first place in Mercedes-Benz Open 2010, playing par on Ian Woosnam Golf Course

Mercedes-Benz Open 2010 golf tournament for amateurs is gaining increasing popularity in Bulgaria. The spring edition of the tournament was held at Pirin Golf & Country Club, Razlog on 29 May 2010.

Ivan Trasiev won first place with the highest gross result-36 points. He is the first amateur / golfer / that played par on Ian Woosnam golf course at Pirin Golf. The special award was Weekend for two at Pirin Golf & Country Club with the support of Mercedes-Benz.
