Attractive prizes for the winners in the unique golf competition M-Tel Golf Masters
On July 3rd Pirin Golf & Country Club hosted the first of this summer M-tel Golf Masters Tournaments – that proved to be a unique golf event. Most of the participants arrived on Friday and immediately started practicing oh the Practice area and on the course, stimulated by the attractive prizes provided by the sponsor.
“We would like to thank to the sponsor for trusting us and organizing one of the biggest golf events in Bulgaria for this year. The next step in our collaboration is sponsoring the International Pro- Am Tournament that Pirin Golf will be held at Pirin Golf & Country Club between August 25 - 30th. The communication market leader proved that communication is their passion” – said Nikolay Stanew – the first Bulgarian Golf Professional.
The great interest in the event and the competition proves the effort in developing and promoting golf in Bulgaria. Golf is more than a sport- it is a way of life. It’s a standard of behavior and flawless appearance.
84 Bulgarian and foreign golfers attended the competition, among them representatives of the foreign embassies in Bulgaria. The new ambassador of Republic of Korea – Mr. Bee –Ho Chun, Te Ambassador of Slovakia – Mr. Karol Mistrik and the Ambassador of Japan – Mr. Tsuneharo Takeda with his wife – Mrs. Kimiko Takeda.
The prize giving ceremony was held at the Clubhouse by Mr. Nikolay Stanew – Golf Director of Pirin Golf & Country Club, Mrs. Tatyana Naydenova – Senior Director in M-tel, Mr. Marian Hambarov – Director Business Sales, Sofia and Yasen Nachev – Director Business Sales, West Region, Mr. Nikolay Kaloyanov and Mr. Yordan Kanazirev – Directors of Pirin Golf & Country Club.
The sponsors surprised everyone with the attractive prizes – the first white Blackberry phones in Bulgaria and the first M-tel notebook for all winners. There were also prizes for the draft for all tournament participants.
The Japanese Ambassador Mr. Takeda won the special prize “Nearest to the pin”. Bojidar Spassov – one of the participants in the last tree Kid’s Golf Camps won the “Longest Drive” trophy.
Ivan Golomeev – the winner in handicap class A sais that the fact that he had joined the competition 10 minutes before the start didn’t stop him from winning the event and one of the first M-tel Notebooks.
“I have achieved some very good results, since I made Pirin Golf & Country Club my home Club. On the previous tournament I was first, now second, every time in top three” – said Ivan Trasiev.
First place in division B won the representative of ladies Elza Rigaill with 44 net Stableford points, followed by Stanislav Svorchik.
“I would like to thank to the Indonesian Ambassador, who show me this unique complex- favourite place for me and my friend “ said the Korean Ambassador Bee-Ho Chun, who took 3rd place ind division B with 38 points.
One of the winners in division C –Bertram Rollmann, a member at Pirin Golf & Country Club and an owner of the famous brand for men and women clothing was eager to start intensive training early in the morning / 7:00 a.m. /, that’s the way to win.
Selected customers of the leader of telecommunication companies M-Tel were invited to do their first steps in the prestigious game. |
